Panda—the National Treasure
Panda is one of the scarcest animals. People in the world like it very much. There used to be many pandas in China long ago. As the balance of nature was destroyed and the weather was getting warmer and warmer, pandas became less. But at present, the number of pandas is increasing year by year. There are now so many pandas that some are being sent to other countries so that people there can enjoy them.
Nowadays, the biggest nature park for panda in China is in Sichuan. There is a research centre for nature and wild life there. Scientists hope that one day they will have enough pandas to be set free and let them live in the wild again.

treasure of China.Many people love them very much.They are my favorite animal.

The red panda, also known as lesser panda and cat bear, is found at high elevations in the Himalayas and the mountains of W China and N Myanmar. The giant panda superficially resembles a bear. The body is chiefly white, and the limbs are brownish black, with the dark color extending up over the shoulder. The ears and eye patches are black. Adults weigh from 200 to 300 lb (90-140 kg) and are from 4.5 to 5 ft (140-150 cm) long with a 5-in. (13-cm) tail. Giant pandas live in restricted areas of the high mountain bamboo forests of central China; their diet consists almost entirely of bamboo shoots. Rare in the wild, they breed poorly in captivity. Giant pandas are protected by law in China.

Pandas are classified in the phylum Chordata , subphylum Vertebrata, class Mammalia, order Carnivora, family Procyonidae.

A Big Panda
1.Big Panda is never tired .He often heips his friends-dogs,rabbits,mics,parrots,ducks,frogs,monkey and lizards,etc.
2.Every moring he gets up very early and puts on his nice jacket.Then he goes out.
3.When he meets a rabbit,he would say, “Shall I carry those carrots for you? ”
4.When he meets the chickens at the door ,he will say,“Shall I open the door for you?”
5.When he meets a baby duck,he will say ,“Shall I help you find your mother?”
6.When he meets two dogs in the park,he will ask them,“Shall I take a picture for you ?”
7.Some of his friends say“Yes,please.”And some say,“No,thank you.”
8.Everybody likes Big Panda and he likes them too.
