The computer network plays a great role in today's everyday life. The internet, which is one of the greatest discoveries in the 20th centrury, connects the whole world together. People use the internet to communicate, to teach, to learn, to do many many things which were not possible before.
Computer networks continue to drive computer hardware, software, and peripherals industries. This expansion is mirrored by growth in the numbers and types of users of networks from researchers and businesses to families and individuals in everyday use.
