The content of this course is governed by the syllabus provided by the State of New York. The first semester and the prerequisite class prepare the students for the January Math A exam. Topics in the first semester include: Euclidean, and Analytical Geometry, extension of Algebra skills, Mathematical Systems and Probability. The second semester expands to Euclidean and Analytical Geometry, Irrational and Complex Number Systems and Quadratics. A graphing calculator is required for this course.

Prerequisite: Successful completion of Math 2 and the Math A Regents exam
The content of this course is governed by the syllabus provided by the State of New York and includes Circle Geometry, Functions, Exponential and Logarithmic Functions, Trigonometry, Transformational Geometry and Statistics. The class and its prerequisite course prepare students for the Math B Regents Exam in June following 1 1/2 years of preparation. A graphing calculator is required for this course.
