如:
To protect animals is to protect human beings.(作主语)
To protect myself,I ran away as fast as I could.(作目的状语)
过去分词在句首表示状语是被动的情况.
如:
Compared(比较) with him,you're lucky enough.(compare...with...把...与...比较,"你"是被比较的对象,句首用过去分词)
To play basketball is interesting=Playing basketball is interesting

1.动词放句首有两种形式(1).不定式to do(2).动词-ing形式
(3).表做某事的目的也用不定式
例:To catch the early bus,I got up quite early.

例:Lost in thought,he nearly caused a fire!
