There are many high school students (from shanghai for example) studying in France. The course they take is called "preperation school", it's the pre-course of 2 years before the entry of "grande école"(university). And is equivalent to high school. The courses are very difficult, they study very hard and have to take a extremly cruel exam in the end of the study. (just the same situation of college entry exam in china)

university in france is some kind of "all people education" Anyone can apply and enter a unversiy if he reaches the age.
