1）imagine doing sth.是固定搭配
2）make sb. do sth.
be being done
以上的都是固定搭配. 2中应该为be being caught,但be省略了
3）what 相当于先行词＋that
如果不用what ，应该为 the boy had no choice but to do the thing that his mother had told him.
另外，have no choice but to do sth.是固定搭配
4)keep sb. doing 是固定用法
5）shut在句中是过去分词，keep sth. done 句意为：他无法对所有的这些视而不见
