rent,price这类词，只能用high来形容。
What a high price!
The rent is too high.
物品可以用expensive形容。
These televisions are expensive while those are cheap.
可以的~
The rent is expensive.
The price is too expensive.
expensive 做表语常用在be动词后，虽然它是形容词理应可修饰名词，但通常不这么用，表示昂贵时用 high,dear等词修饰物品，这只是习惯用法，学语言有时不能刨根问底的，每种语言都有它的固定或者习惯用法
