虽然上面大家都选择b，可是我认为选c比较合适，这里which引导的是非限制性的定语从句，只不过特殊的是定语从句的先行词不是一个词，而是一件事情。另外用that的话必须在前面加上and，而且that不能用来引导非限制性定语从句
选B，首先要明确逗号后面当然可以用that。that可以引导从句，在这句中相当于which的作用，指代前面整个句子，表示the others envy him的原因。其实这个句子也可以用that来引导前面的句子来作主语，变为:That helen was much kinder to her son than to others made the others envy him也是一样的意思。
