这首歌《'39 》,是皇后乐队的《A Nigt At The Opera》专辑里的。急求完整歌词。多谢!!!

In the year of thirty-nine
Assembled here the volunteers
In the days when lands were few
Here the ship sailed out into the blue and sunny morn
The sweetest sight ever seen
And the night followed day
And the story tellers say
That the score brave souls inside
For many a lonely day
Sailed across the milky seas
Ne'er looked back never feared never cried

Don't you hear my call
Though you're many years away
Don't you hear me calling you
Write your letters in the sand
For the day I'll take your hand
In the land that our grand-children knew

In the year of thirty-nine
Came a ship in from the blue
The volunteers came home that day
And they bring good news
Of a world so newly born
Though their hearts so heavily weigh
For the earth is old and grey
Little darlin' we'll away
But my love this cannot be
Oh so many years have gone
Though i'm older but a year
Your mother's eyes from your eyes cry to me

Don't you hear my call
Though you're many years away
Don't you hear me calling you
Write your letters in the sand
For the day I'll take your hand
In the land that our grand-children knew

Don't you hear my call
Though you're many years away
Don't you hear me calling you
All your letters in the sand
Cannot heal me like your hand
For my life, still ahead, pity me.

我帮不上忙

<A Night at the Opera>
Brian May

Lyrics:

In the year of '39 assembled here the volunteers
In the days when the lands were few
Here the ship sailed out into the blue and sunny morn
Sweetest sign ever seen

And the night followed day
And the story tellers say
That the score brave souls inside
For many a lonely day sailed across the milky seas
Ne'er looked back, never feared, never cried

Don't you hear my call though you're many years away
Don't you hear me calling you
Write your letters in the sand
For the day I take your hand
In the land that our grandchildren knew

Aah, aah, aah, aah

In the year of '39 came a ship in from the blue
The volunteers came home that day
And they bring good news of a world so newly born
Though their hearts so heavily weigh
For the earth is old and grey, little darling we'll away
But my love this cannot be
Oh so many years have gone though I'm older but a year
Your mother's eyes from your eyes cry to me

Don't you hear my call though you're many years away
Don't you hear me calling you
Write your letters in the sand for the day I take your hand
In the land that our grandchildren knew

Don't you hear my call though you're many years away
Don't you hear me calling you
All your letters in the sand cannot heal me like your hand

For my life
Still ahead
Pity me

评论(引用自Queen Song By Song):

'39 {Brian May}

An acoustic guitar based composition, which stands out from the album because of its relative simplicity. Freddie and Roger’s lofty falsetto harmonies, combined with Brian’s lavish electric guitar lines, build up this song superbly. Brian provides some smooth, yet angst-ridden vocals, which are ideally suited to the tone of this tune. The song has a sort of campfire morality feel to it, as if the story it contains should be heeded and learnt from. The story it relates is of a group of volunteers who leave their homes to explore another land. When they return after a year, they find that their friends and family have aged several years in their absence. Bearing in mind Brian's love of science, the ship in question could be a spaceship travelling at light speed, effectively explaining the time differential. There’s not a lot for Roger to do, just provide a punchy bass drum beat throughout. John plays the double bass, which adds a further sincere ambience to an already atmospheric arrangement. Freddie and Roger join Brian in some of the vocal harmonies, but there are sections where it is only Brian’s voice that provide the harmony, lending a more distinctive character. Although this tune is principally acoustic based, it still retains a sense of forcefulness. The band yet again proving that there is more to Queen than merely hard rock songs, and this is an exquisite example of their versatility. Here's an interesting fact: if you count up all the album tracks to date in the order they appear, this song is conveniently the thirty-ninth! Accident or design...you had better ask Brian!
