want sth done是说“想要别人做某事”
给你举几个例子：i want my car repaired tonight.
i want your hair cut immediately
前一个大家都知道我就不多说了

want something done 是指把某事做好,通常是别人来做.如:I want this room cleaned right now. I want to have my haircut.

"want to do something is a phrase", I seldome see this one: want doing something"

want sth done的说法没有听说过
如果你是要问want 表示需要被干什么的时候应该用
want doing或者to be done
FOR
The house wants to be cleaned(或cleaning)
这房子需要被打扫．．

前者表示被动
比如：I want the flowers watered.
后者表示主动
比如：I want watering the flowers.
