你的这句话无论从句法上还是逻辑上都有问题，首先when在这里没有任何的意义，因为when既不是句子的状语也不是situaton 的定语从句，你要表达的意思是：你能想到All things are difficult before they are easy这样的情况么？而实际上:"All things are difficult before they are easy"是 situation 的同位语，所以when应改成that（引导同位语从句）。
另外，All things are dfficult before they are easy 是“万事开头难”的意思，它大致相当于一句谚语，是激励人开拓进取，努力拼搏的，怎么能找到某一种特定的情况来说明呢？！
