New Year's Day 新年（on January 1)这个没什么特别的活动，和我们差不多，家人朋友聚在一起庆祝．通常是喝香槟，吃新年的幸运食物，像pork，sauerkraut（酸泡菜），还有看场足球比赛！
Christmas 圣诞节 这个就不用介绍了
Thanksgiving 感恩节（on the fourth Thursday in November) 那天吃的食物有 roast turkey ,stuffing,sweet potatoes and pumpkin pie
Valentine's Day 情人节( on February 14th)
这天最受欢迎的礼物当然是rose了
April Fool's Day 愚人节（on April 1)
Halloween 万圣节 In order to placate the sprists,gifts of food were left on th doorstep outside the house .Children will wear the masks and costumes and go "trick or treating",They will knock on people's doors asking for a treat-usually candy-so they will not play a trick on the inhabitants of the house.
