把here换成there，不好。here --- 这里； ther --- 那里。
He is not here：他不在这里。
He is not there: 他不在那里。

都表示在某地,here是在此,there是在彼.
类似的表示时间的"现在、当时"的还有now和then.翻译成"现在"和"当时"
