My composition: January 12th,2002
Dear Mr.President:
I feel very honored to introduce the canteen service on our campus to you.As a freshman I find the food in our commons is delicious and tasty.This is what most of other students think.But the prices of some food are too expensive.Take the chicken for example,it is sold at three yuan in our school compared with two yuan even much cheaper on average outside.As a result,many students prefer to have the meals outside rather than in the commons.
As far as I am concerned,the surroundings here is favorable.The tables and chairs are not only tidy but also clean.If only the area can be expanded and the room can be larger!
Futhermore the servers who smile all the time are very friendly and hospitable.They do very good jobs indeed!
All above is my feelings about the canteen service on our campus.I really hope it will be helpful.

It's pretty lucky for me to attend this university.As a freshman I find the food in our commons is delicious and tasty, which is what most of other students think as well.But I'm afraid to tell you that the prices of some food are too high.Take the chicken as an illustration,it is sold at three yuan in our school compared with two yuan,even much cheaper, on average outside.As a result,many students prefer to have the meals outside rather than in the commons.
As for the surroundings,as far as I am concerned,it is favorable.The tables and chairs are not only tidy but also clean.Nevertheless,the our commens are not spacious enough. If only the space could be expanded and the room could be larger!
