What kind of men are most mature women attracted to? Married women are beginning to focus more on the physical side of men, such as their looks and build, rather than their social status. Men with wealth, success, and maturity but not good-looking do not make the list.

Powerful women like young and physically strong men, instead of those whose social status matches their own. Marty Klein, a family doctor from California claims that more and more middle-aged women are looking for young men to be their sex partners. The July issue of Newsweek carried the account of a 40-year-old woman who wants more control over her sexuality. A widespread story from Manhattan is very telling. At a birthday party for a 6-year-old girl from an elite private kindergarten, the children's conversation somehow turned to their mothers' personal trainers. As these proud moms were listening to their kids, the youngest girl blurted out, "My mommy has a personal trainer. Whenever he comes to our house, he takes a nap with mommy." This vicious joke may not be true, but it reflects some current trends in American society.

Also in the July issue of Newsweek, the report carried the account of a real personal trainer. This Italian trainer bragged that he was the savior of lonely housewives, but a nightmare for their husbands. He claimed that in his 30-year career as a trainer, he had sex with more than 40 married female clients. Because their husbands focused entirely on work, the wives often felt lost, empty, and neglected. They needed a partner to create excitement in their lives and buff young trainers filled the void, becoming lovers for the married women.
