“Art is a lie that tells the truth.” This is a famous quote by a Spanish painter whose name is Picasso and it demonstrates that to those whom understands no significance, art tend to be defined as the decorated artwork with various appearances which appreciate one’s sense of sight. However, to those whom realizes the application of art and its true meaning, art is like a piece of implicated literary work, a meaningful song, and a rhyming poem that one has to decompose and analyze in order to fully comprehend the message communicated in the art, and only these people know what is the truth that the art is trying to express silently. Other than that, art displays simply as a lifeless and processed object but indicates nothing, as though a lie. A good example for this would be the story “Where Are You Going, Where Have You Been,” by Joyce Carol Oates. The author uses many methods of art to enhance the story and impress the readers. She repeatedly applies many motifs to the story, such as music, façade and breath that marks great feelings and impression on readers as they read her literature. Yet, among these motifs, people have the tendency to ignore the descriptive breath of Connie’s in different stages of the story because it is such an ordinary action that everyone does everyday. Nonetheless, if one notices and has good understanding of why breath takes a major role in part of the story, one is taking the story in heart and is resonating with the story as it goes. On the other hand, if one thinks nothing about the appearance of the breath but lines of words, one apparently disregard the value that the author has put on it. In a nutshell, one has to be able to acknowledge the message transmitted in the art in order to see the value of it.
确定以下:please check my grammatical mistake !! thanks to everybody!

1、to those whom understands no significance,art tend to be defined...
(1)whom--->who,修饰those的从句中who是做主语,而不是考虑前面是不是有to.
(2)tend to --->tends to,art的动词必须用单数。

2、 However, to those whom realizes the application of art and its true meaning,
realizes--->realize

3、in order to fully comprehend the message communicated in the art

4、but indicates nothing, as though a lie.
as though a lie--->as though it was a lie,as though一般是接从句,较少见接名词,接从句时必须用虚拟语气。

5、 The author uses many methods of art to enhance the story and impress the readers.

6、She repeatedly applies many motifs to the story, such as music, façade and breath that marks great feelings and impression on readers as they read her literature.
(1)applies--->applied,理由同5

why breath takes a major role in part of the story
takes--->plays,play a role是固定搭配

one is taking the story in heart and is resonating with the story as it goes.
(1)is taking--->will take,这里应该是将来时
(2)in heart--->in his heart,in heart 意味精神抖擞,情绪高昂,应该不是你所要表达的意思。
(3)is resonating--->will resonate,理由同(1)
(4)with the story--->with it,避免重复

In a nutshell, one has to be able to acknowledge the message transmitted in the art in order to see the value of it.
(1)acknowledge--->acquire,acknowledge

“Art is a lie that tells the truth.” This is a famous quote by a Spanish painter whose name is Picasso, and it demonstrates that to those who understands no significance(不明白), art tends to be defined as the decorated artwork with various appearances which appreciate one’s sense of sight. However, to those who (不是whom拉) realize (复数噢) the application of art and its true meaning, it is like a piece of implicated literary work, a meaningful song, and a rhyming poem which has to be decomposed and analyzed in order to fully comprehend the communicated message. (and only these people know what is the truth that the art is trying to express silently With the exception of that, artwork simply displays as a lifeless and processed object but indicates nothing, as though a lie. A good example for this would be the story “Where Are You Going, Where Have You Been,” by Joyce Carol Oates. The author uses many methods of art to enhance the story and impress the readers. She repeatedly applies many motifs to the story, such as music, façade and breath that makes great feelings and impression on readers as they read her literature. However (yet 好像不可以用这里噢..), among these motifs, people have the tendency to ignore the descriptive breath of Connie’s in different stages of the story, because it is such an ordinary action that everyone does everyday. Nonetheless, if someone notices and has good understanding of why breath takes a major role in part of the story, he (or she) is taking the story in heart and is resonating with the story as it goes. On the other hand, if one thinks nothing about the appearance of the breath but lines of words, one apparently disregard the value that the author has put on it. In a nutshell, one has to be able to acknowledge the message transmitted in the art in order to see the value of it.

~some suggestions~
1. You use “one” to indicate people, but you may consider replacing it with “someone” or something else.
2. In the story part, it is not quite clearly to me. Try to make it clearer.
