A: Has anyone come across this?

B: And if so, how did you deal with it. Any input would be great. Here is the scoop..

A: We have standard summer vistation. My ex didn't inform me of what dates he wanted for summer, therefore it was automatically July 1 - July 31. I requested one weekend in July, as I'm allowed, back in April.

B: On July 7th he informs me, via his attorney and mine, he will not be in town for the weekend I requested (July 23-25). I wrote him back and said, fine, I'll pick him up on July 30th. Said since this will overlap with when he is to return our son to me, then I will not have to bring him back on Aug 1st.

A: My son's b-day is tomorrow (July 28th), the papers say which ever parent doesn't have the child can pick the child up from 6-8 on the child's b-day.

B: I get a message from my son tonight saying he is still out of town with his father and won't be back for me to see him tomorrow. He says (on the message) he won't see me until the 31st - this is the day after I requested for the new dates of my possession weekend during this time.

A: Is this kidnapping? Is this just not following the possession? Is he in contempt? Is it just going to be a long process of showing in contempt or can I have the cops at his house tomorrow arresting him?

B: Any tips, thoughts, ideas would be great. Can't talk to my attorney until tomorrow!
