在这welcome不该作为动词.一定有不少人会大声反对,甚至.....但是在发表意见之前,最好仔细阅读3本大型的原版词典然后再开口.
其他有些东西不是查阅词典能闹明白的.懒得说了.

首先它不是给中国人看得,而是给客人看的.
没有必要把"领导"直译为"leader",世界上很多民主国家本来就对中国的官僚体制有颇多微辞.中国人习惯了开口闭口就是"领导".
"指导"之类的空洞客套省掉不译最好.

应该可以的啊,不过我对 distinguished leader 这个词是 联合国领导 之意 有点怀疑,distinguish 是"判断"之意,加"-ed"是形容词化,所以我觉得是"评审团"或"指导团"之类的意思比较合适,你觉得呢?
