Acturaly, all the hometowns were new world at the very begining. Weren't they? Them became our hometowns just because of the facts that our ancestors made their last stop there after their journey of straying and wandering.

译文：Weren't all hometowns actually forgein lands at the beginning? The so-called homeland, is just the last stop where our ancestors rested in their journey of wandering.

注释：
1。“异乡”是一个比“他乡”更书面的词，因此翻译采用了forgein land而不是strange land
2。“落脚”表示的是在行进过程中的休息，其包含的意思有三层：以前在行进；现在休息；以后可能继续前进下去。所以用rest来对应。而stay，settle down等词都没有第三层意思。
3。“流浪”采用wandering和roaming都可以。这两个词都是人们在形容吉普赛人时常用的词。
4。“最后一站”其中的“站”表示的是旅途中停下的地方。station一般表示汽车站火车站之类的实体车站。因此这里用stop更适合。

starnger land 包含foreign land。

只不过：nothing more than

落脚译成stay 不合适，其暗示的时段太短。settle down表示的安定下来，在某处生活的时间较长。既然是最后一站，用stay就不妥了。如果是中途停顿还可以。
