BE动词一般放NOT ONLY前面还是后

先看看两个例子：
1：Not only you but I am student as well.
2：I am not only a student but a worker as well.

所以：要修饰主语一类词时，be动词在not only后；

要修饰表语一类词时，be动词在not only前。

回答：前面

例：He is not only a teacher but also a student。

but 后加“be”
例：He is not a student but （is） a teacher。

as well 一般放在句末

He is a teacher ，and he is a student as well。

only 放在be后
