You're about to "tan " the smart way－the way dermatologists prefer －without a ray of sun.Couldn't be simpler.You've allowed plenty of time. Your hair is tied back.(And not dripping wet . You've read through these instructions at least once. You're ready to "tan".
1.First step .exfoliate
●For an even,believable tan, it's important to start with smooth,exfoliated skin－buff away rough spots that can grab colour in patches.
●For face ,you'll use your favourite Clinique facial exfoliater.For body ,shower with either Soft Polish Body Exfoliator,Sparkle Skin Body Exfoliator or Sparkle Skin Body Exfoliating Cream.(No loofahs－they cause streaking.)
●In all cases ,work small amounts over skin,in circular motions.Remove thoroughly according to directions. Towel dry.
2.Apply.
●Smooth your favourite Clinique(倩碧）self -tanner over skin, a litte at a time (if using Body Self -Tanning Mist ,spray first ,then smooth all over.) Blend evenly ,starting with horizontal ,then vertical strokes to prevent gaps.Face tanners:avoid eye area.
●Wash hands and brush nails with soap and warm water immediately afer application.
●To avoid the "white gloves" look, lightly reapply self-tanner to backs of hands and quickly rewipe palms.
●When tanning legs and arms, go light on feet,knees ,ankles and elbows, so they don't over tan.
Tips:Plan ahead where you wnat your tan line to stop or fade away :eyebrows ,hairline ,under jaw.And be aware of "giveaway" spots:soles of feet ,palms.Soften edges by blending with a damp cotton ball.
3. Wait 10 or 15 minutes.
●Most self -tanners take about 15 minutes to dry. Face Self-Tannig Formula and Body Quick Bronxa Tinted Self-Tanner Mousse,just 10 minutes.Don't dress,or allow skin to come in contact with makeup,hair,eyeglasses,bed linens or furniture until dry.
●Wait one hour before swimming or showering. Water tends to stop the self-tanning process and may cause streaking. Your tan develops fully in two to three hous .And on some skins, may continue to deepen after that.Body Quick Bronze tinted Self-Tanner M ousse begins to tan in less than an hour.
WARNING: These products do not contain a sun-screen and do not protect you against sunburn.Repeated exposure of unprotected skin aging,skin cancer and other harmful effests to the skin even if you do not burn.
In the sun ,always wear a Clinique sunscreen.
