Text rotation and image movement --- special topic on the animation effects

Abstract: In this paper, firstly, the animation methods, image enhancement technique and the backgound of programming using Borland C++ Builder (BCB), are briefly introduced. Then a method is proposed to implement the text rotation and image movement using BCB on the platform of Windows. Various effects can be achieved by the proposed text rotation method, such as the rotation effects of the input words, the change of the properties of the rotated text, the change of the rotation angle and the rotation direction. On the other hand, the image movement technique has the functionality that the image can be moved according to either the movement of the mouse or the direction defined by the users.

Using the C++ Builder technique, the proposed method applies the OnTimer event to rotate the text and move the image, exploits the powerful canvas TCanvas to change the properties of the words and uses the TPicture class and the Timage module to process the image. Furthermore, the dithering artifacts can be efficiently removed under dynamic environment, although the programming can be further improved,
