跟同台一个档次的品牌:不知道是T还是F？

有一个小短文是关于兄弟之间的感情的，下面一段是课文原句，和课文相关的还有一道判断题！我觉得奇怪！答案给的是（F）
He(Mark) knows who my friends are and I (Richard) know who his friends are.But when we meet we hardly ever speak. His friends aren't interested in talking to my friends . And my friends think his frinds are boring and patronising.

hardly ever 和 hardly 有什么不一样！？

但是文中的But when we meet we hardly ever speak.
的意思是但是当我们在一起的时候我们难得交谈．后面又解释了我们指的是我的朋友和他的朋友．His friends aren't interested in talking to my friends . And my friends think his frinds are boring and patronising.
他的朋友们没有兴趣和我的朋友们谈话，我的朋友们也认为他的朋友们总是以恩人的态度自居令人厌烦．

但是好象没有提到当Mark和Richard单独共处的时候他们是从不交谈的．
