这两个词有什么差别呢？
说到房地产租赁，英文有 rent、let、lease 三字，但三字意思有点不同。Rent可以指“出租”或“租用”，例如：（1）Tom has rented the house to Mary for／at $10,000 a month.（汤姆把房子租给了玛丽，每月租金一万元。）（2）Mary has rented the house from Tom.（玛丽向汤姆租了这栋房子。）Let 只能指“出租”，例如：Tom has let the house to Mary for／at 10,000 a month。
要出租的房子，往往会挂上 For let 或 To let 二字：For let 是美式说法，To let 则是英式。Lease 和 rent 一样，指“出租”或“租用”都可，但强调的是双方签了租约：lease 作名词，就是“租约”，例如：Both parties have signed the lease.（双方都在租约上签了字。）作名词，rent 是指“租金”，例如：Mary had the house at a rent of $10,000 a month.（玛丽以每月一万元的租金租用房子。）
