我的想法如下：
要说是插入语也应该是you think of 整个作插入语 不过以你们这种理解就是you think作为插入语了，似乎也没错
先看这道题The best way (that) we should think of ( )the boy
A how to help B to help There's no doubt .Choose B
但前面那道题就有不同理解了，I think
1答案选的是B 就是理解为you think of 整个作插入语to make the water clean 表目的
2就是：you think是个插入语
3就是我的另一个理解you think of how to make the water clean 整个作the way 的定语也就是定语从句了

the way to make...比the way of how to make...更加好不是吗？！

至于另外一句 和这句是一样的

that we should think of 是the best way 的定语从句，其中，think of the way 是词组的固定搭配
to help the boy 也是修饰成分，表示目的 to = in order to
