The word "global English" is being used increasingly these days. It is a meaning of suggesting that English is spoken in every corner of the world, both among speakers within a particular country who share English as a first language, and among speskers from different countries. English is no longer spoken only by its native spearers in UK North America, Australia and New Zealand, and by those who learn English in order to communicate with native English speakers.It is also spoken among non-native speakers within a large number of countries throughout the world,like India ,the Philippines and Singapore. This use of English is ofteh referred to as " English as an International Language" or EIL,and it is this kind of English which we will pay most attention to as it has the largest group of English speakers, up of about 1.5 billion. With hundreds of thousands of words in the English language, teaching vocabulary can seem like a very tough task.
