1 pass, cross都是动词: pass 表示从某地, 某物或某人的旁边 经过, 也可以表示从某物内部, 或人与人, 物与物之间 穿过, 还可以表示时间或空间的 经过;
cross表示从表面 “横过、越过、穿过”， 强调从一边到另一边；
2 across (介词， 副词)表示从表面“横过、越过、穿过”， 强调从一边到另一边； 比如过马路，游泳过河都用across。eg Don't go across the road now.
3 through(介词， 副词) 从内部通过，从里面穿过，透过。 水从水管子流出，，光穿过玻璃。或人穿过森林。
The water go to our city through big pipes.
The sunshines shone in through the window.
we go through the forest.
