As a business begins, one of the major goals of advertising must be to generate awareness of the business and its products. Once the business' reputation is established and its products are positioned within the market, the amount of resources used for advertising will decrease as the consumer develops a kind of loyalty to the product. Ideally, this established and ever-growing consumer base will eventually aid the company in its efforts to carry their advertising message out into the market, both through its purchasing actions and its testimonials on behalf of the product or service. 对于一个刚刚诞生的企业来讲,广告最大的一个目的就是让大家对企业及其产品有所了解。一旦企业在市场上建立起了自身的信誉,其产品也有了市场份额,消费者就对产品有了忠诚度,从而减少了大量的广告费。理想来说,已经建立起来并在不断增长的客户群,不论是他们的购买行为,还是他们对此产品或服务的赞誉,最终都会帮助公司在市场上做广告的宣传。
