本文介绍一种利用VHDL在PLD器件上配以一个小的扬声器构成一个乐曲演奏电路，或者说采用纯硬件来实现乐曲的演奏。PLD器件选取Altera的EPF10K10，音乐选取“梁祝”片段。通过对组成乐曲的每个音符的频率值（音调）及其持续时间（音长）的控制从而实现乐曲的演奏。利用EDA开发工具MaxplusⅡ对该项目的VHDL程序进行编写、编辑、编译、综合和仿真，并通过实验箱下载到PLD器件中，经调试后，运行良好。
