begin是瞬间动词，在完成时中不能和“for+一段时间”连用，如果想表示同样的意思，须把瞬间动词变成延续性动词。begin的延续性动词形式为be on，所以用had been on。

要在had 后面加一个been，meeting是不会自己开始的，只能用被动
begin 为瞬时动词，不能用完成时。
