这里用further不恰当,further更多地有"进一步,更深入"的意思,如果我们说"我们需要进一步地观察","进一步地了解对方"可以用further.
这里实际上两个人是疏远的,用further意思正好相反了,而且与distance搭配也不合适.
这里用意译更合适,这里的距离实际上是心里产生的感觉,彼此变得陌生,冷淡.
