我看到两个句子：1。don't believe the plausible talk of a crafty salesperson. 2. in the year 1400, the idea that the earth revolved around the sun not only did nor seem plausible,but,in fact, seemed so ludicrous that one its main proponents, Galileo, was severly punished for maintaning his bielif.有没有可能是第二个句子not only后面的那个did不应该要？

plausible有两个意思:
1(of an excuse or explanation) reasonable and likely to be true OPP IMPLAUSIBLE
2(of a person) good at sounding honest and sincere, especially when trying to trick people
第一个意思应该说是中性的,反义词是impossible
第二个意思含贬义.
not only did nor seem 中的nor不要.
1. 貌似真实的,貌似有理的(中性,看起来像真的.)
2. 貌似可信的;花言巧语的(贬义)
翻译:
1不要相信狡猾的销售员的花言巧语.
2在公元前1400年,地球绕太阳转这种想法,不仅看起来像假的, 而且事实上也如此的可笑,以至于(伽利略)这种思想的主要支持者受到严重的惩罚.
个人以为nor 是不是应该改成not 才好理解呀
not only did not seem plausible :不仅看起来不像真的
(即不仅看起来像假的)
